The Club of Florence

A Renaissance for Inspired Action in Sustainability

Nature, Capital, Policy, & Philosophy, Art & Science
Sponsored by CATO, the Club of Florence is a multi-disciplinary platform mobilizing capital, technology, and leadership to advance sustainability and human progress. Rooted in the spirit of the Renaissance and inspired by Edgar Morin’s philosophy of Renewed Humanism (RH), the Club brings together investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and creators to drive transformative solutions at the intersection of Nature, Capital, Policy, Philosophy, Art & Science.

Driving Innovation and Capital into Systems-Level Change
The Club channels expertise, investment, and innovation into restoring and regenerating natural systems—air, water, soil, and biodiversity. Its work bridges disciplines to create investable solutions, where financial innovation and breakthrough technologies fuel measurable and scalable outcomes for people, economies, and the planet.

Where Vision Meets Execution
By curating a high-impact ecosystem, the Club of Florence translates complexity into opportunity—turning sustainability concepts into tangible initiatives with lasting impact. The Club fosters collaboration among global leaders, ensuring intellectual rigor leads to real-world action.

The Renewed Humanism (RH) Award
Each year, the Club celebrates leaders who embody action over ideology. The Renewed Humanism (RH) Award honors individuals, organizations, and projects delivering meaningful, scalable impact across five categories: Biodiversity & Conservation, Leadership, Climate & Natural Capital Finance, Technology & Innovation, and The Unsung Hero. These awards highlight achievements that regenerate natural systems, strengthen society, and advance human potential—igniting progress beyond polarization.

Sovereign wealth funds, pensions, foundations, and family offices are invited to partner with the Club to scale nature-based and systemic solutions globally. The Club of Florence is proudly supported by CATO.
